Booking Terms

Deposit - A non-refundable deposit for the cost of the first night is required to secure all bookings of up to one week's duration.  Two nights deposit will be required for bookings of 8 days or more. 

Cancellations - In the event of a non-appearance or cancellation within 14 days of arrival, we reserve the right to charge the total amount of the booking. However we will attempt to re-let the room(s) and will refund any amounts received less the deposit.  In exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the owners, transfer of the deposit may be agreed outside of the above policy.

Smoking Policy- In order to comply with legislation and to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, smoking is not allowed in any part of Cliff House, including the balcony adjoining the lounge.  If any guests contravene this policy, they will be asked to leave with no refund available. Additionally there may be a charge for any cleaning costs and losses incurred.

Check in/out times 
Check in is normally between 2pm and 7pm
Other times outside the above are possible with prior arrangement. 
Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 10:30 am on the date of departure
 

Payment

Payment may be made using Cash (Sterling), Credit card, Debit card, Cheque or BACS transfer

Parking  

Each room is issued with a free parking permit which may be used at the nearby Harbour Car Park

•  Drop off point outside the front door

• A public transport collection service available

• A Car Park is 75 metres from the house

• Free access to the main village car park

• Level access from pavement across a tiled surface

• A door sill to step over

• All bedrooms are on the 1st & 2nd floor

• Hand rail on one side of stairs only (right hand side)

• Dining room, Balcony & Guest Lounge/TV room on the ground floor

• Totally non-smoking Guest House

• Portable hearing loop available

• Enlarged access statement, brochure and menus available on request  

• Most diets can be catered for by prior arrangement

• Only one room has a shower over a bath. All the others have a walk-in shower

Children
Unfortunately we do not have facilities suitable for children under the age of five years.

Pets
Pets are not allowed in any area of Cliff House.
